As with all the series, this work combines work on a wax sculpture over time with a drawing I made. I photographed the sculpture whenever it seemed to encapsulate something of what I was feeling but then reworked it another day (and rephotographed). It’s been a very long project and there is a lot of additional material not displayed on this site. I would welcome a studio visit from anyone interested in seeing the final sculptures or talking about the process I followed in what was a very deep exploration of the significance of loneliness in my life. Please email me if you would like to visit.
